 Bow River Fly Fishing Adventures operates as a complete guide and outfitter. We offer a variety of fly fishing packages to give you the trip of a lifetime. Choose from Float Trips, Walk and Wade Trips, Lake Trips, and hike-in Alpine Lake Trips. Ask about our Corporate Packages, Family Packages, and Multi-Day Bookings.
All trips include flies, tippet, all of your gear (rods, waders, wading
boots etc.), casting instruction, and food and drinks based on the duration of
the trip. If you have any allergies or food preferences (e.g. veggie, diet
soda), please discuss
this with us prior to the trip in order for us to ensure your satisfaction.
Please bring sunscreen, bug spray, polarized glasses, a rain coat, a rain hat,
and an insulation layer. This is
Calgary, and the weather can change very
quickly and dramatically! Feel free to bring your favorite pair of waders,
or your favorite fly rod. Beginners are welcome as casting lessons are included and basic fly fishing techniques will be covered. Steamers, Nymph's and of course Dry Fly's will be discussed and proper techniques will be shown. Family trips are encouraged, as bringing your son or daughter is a great way to introduce them to this great sport while passing down some of our heritage. We offer a first class experience with great food, professional guides, and all the gear you require - including flies! Pick-up time will vary according to weather, time of year, and recent fishing trends. A typical full day will last 10 - 12 hours, while a typical half day will last up to 6 hours. Fishing licenses and optional gratuities are not included. Fishing licences are available online at https://www.albertarelm.com/ A 25% deposit is required upon booking, and payment in full is due in advance of, or on the day of your trip. Payment for multi-day trips are due before or at the completion of each day. Cancellation – Deposit is fully refundable with 30 days advance notice. If less than 30 days notice is given, your deposit may be put toward another trip within the same calendar year. We can provide you with discounted accommodation rates at a number of hotels featuring Luxury, Superior, and Basic accommodation in Calgary, Banff, Canmore and Lake Louise while you are here fishing with us. These special rates will be extended to you before and after your fishing trip to help you enjoy your entire holiday and thank you for using our guiding service. Gift Certificates: Fathers Day, Birthday's, Christmas, and for Corporate Silent Auctions or just thanking your clients. Gift certificates can be personalized any way you would like. We are a catch and release outfitter. Pick-up and drop-off will be discussed with you prior to your arrival. Don't hesitate to call us to review times and places. Corporate Packages - Contact us for a corporate package to meet your needs. We can accommodate any size group. Multi-Day Bookings - When you book three or more days with us during one fly fishing season, you will receive a 10% discount on all trips. Family Packages - When you bring one person under 14 on the trip you will receive a 5% discount. Teach a kid to fish. Share some of our heritage with your kids to keep this sport alive in the future. Overnight trips include tents, sleeping pads, chairs, and all cooking gear.
Please bring your own sleeping bag. If you do not have your own, we can

along the way. Your guide will help you choose between three sections on the breath taking Upper
Bow River, or between five sections on the world famous "Blue Ribbon" Lower Bow River. Your guide will put you on fish with
advice for which techniques and flies have been working lately for that
particular section of river. 
Walk and Wade Trips are designed for the angler who may want to learn certain
parts of the river, for those who want to learn to read water better, and for those
who just enjoy thoroughly covering good water and picking fish out one at a time
from a productive hole or seam. Clients can choose from a variety of rivers and streams in the region
including the Upper Bow River, Lower Bow River, Oldman River, Sheep River,
Highwood River, and Livingstone River to name only a few. You can pursue
Bull Trout, Rainbows, Browns, and Cutties.
